  5. I was taught how to tie my shoes in Kindergarten. We had these boards with holes in them and shoe laces to learn how to practice tying.

  16. We are still in the process of learning to tie our shoes in my house. My daughter had it, she had it! Then somehow she forgot it! I showed her alternative ways and she picked up on one that is just horrible, it always ends in a knot! Poor thing! She's getting discouraged because she's in second grade and still can't do it.

  26. I remember learning to tie my shoe, we did it by bunny ears and crossing those over. I now teach my eleven grandchildren how to, yes me LOLL. I love it.

  42. Since Im the only leftie my mom had a shoe saleman who was left handed teach me to tie my shoes. My kids we bought those toys where you can tie the babies shoes and they learned that way.

  47. My father taught me how to tie a tie by having me stand in front of a large mirror and follow what he did. He very seldom wore a tie but was able to show me how to tie one.
