The Unicorn War

The Final Book of the Unicorn Epic of Strand

 By John Lee

Young magician Jarrod Courtak and his sometimes unwilling companion, Marianna of Gwyndryth, are assisted by a legendary family of unicorns as they attempt to save the world of Strand and change the course of history.

In the conclusion to the author's unicorn saga, which began with The Unicorn Quest, the unicorns of Strand defend the land's master of magic and his people against the war machines of Umbria.

From Publishers Weekly
This fifth and final volume of Lee's Unicorn Saga (The Unicorn Peace, etc.) proceeds like an expert chess match: brilliant strategies are enacted as political intrigue and daring battles abound, but the characters have about as much color and life as plastic pieces being pushed about on a board. Soon after young Weatherwards are kidnapped from their outposts, the Mage of Strand, Jarrod Courtak of the Magical Lands, finds himself pitted against his former allies, the Emperor Varodias and his bastard son, Malum of Quern. Jarrod must enlist the aid of his unicorn friends to help win this war-and, in so doing, discover a way for the unicorns to gain a safe haven among humankind. Many loose ends from the previous volumes are neatly tied, so loyal followers of these adventures are likely to be pleased, but anyone hoping for something original, exciting or magical will probably be disappointed by what is, ultimately, a lackluster work.

Unicorns!  How we love them. . .

Luckily for all of us unicorn lovers there are hundreds of unicorn books available for all age groups.  I have gathered information about as many as I can find and have placed them here for you on my blog.

You can also find hundreds more for all ages at Sybrina's Blue Unicorn Book Store.

This blog post was brought to you by Unicorn Author and Entrepreneur, Sybrina Durant.  Visit her Sybrina Blue Unicorn Book website for unicorn books, Unicorn Reader Tees, Unicorn Writer Journals and Notebooks, Unicorn Reader Book Sleeves and many cool unicorn gifts.  Sybrina writes The Blue Unicorn Books. If you enjoyed reading The Hobbit, Alice In Wonderland or even Watership Downs, you might just love this purely fanciful anthropomorphic fantasy novel.

Journey To Osm - The Blue Unicorn's Tale by Sybrina Durant is an enchanting escapade about a metal-horned tribe of space-faring unicorns stranded a universe away from their home world of Unimaise. It is full of magic and adventure with walloping dashes of pseudosciencey stuff sprinkled throughout. It also offers a thought-provoking look into love and war amongst the other denizens of MarBryn. . .including Magh, the sorcerer who wants to kill all unicorns.
